Hi Ross
I am a British expay living in Spain.
I work for an offshore company and therefore do not pay social security in Spain. If I pay NICS in the UK will this cover any medical issues I may have in Spain under the bilateral healthcare agreement?
Thanks

I'll back Dave's suggestion of adding Vienna. Even the French serve a 'café viennois', with a lush topping of sweetened whipped cream over a good aromatic arabica. I'd also add Milan and Madrid. But if you have access to local knowledge, you can get a decent coffee in some unlikely cities - even London isn't just Starbucks, Costa and similar competitors, and an Italian friend once tracked down a French-owned café in Stuttgart.

Great article, Nate.

I have to say I'm surprised not to see Vienna on the list! But I'm sure everyone has their own list of favourites.

This year's Koninginnedag takes on added significance as HM Queen Beatrix will be abdicating in favour of her son, HRH Prince Willem-Alexander - his investiture will be taking place on Tuesday 30 April, making him the first King of the Netherlands since his great-grandmother Queen Wilhelmina acceded to the throne over 120 years ago.

Great to hear from you, Chris! How are you keeping? Drop us an email and let us know!
Given where you are and the wealth of fantastic beers you're surrounded by, I'm strongly tempted to say I've no sympathy. But if I'm honest, I'd probably be a bit homesick for a decent British ale from time to time too. ;-)
