A couple of months ago we decided to treat ourselves with a stay at one of Bangkok’s poshest hotels, the Lebua at State Tower. (We reviewed it at the time – you can read our review here.)
Having booked through the Agoda hotel booking and review website, we received an email a few days afterwards inviting us to write a review of the place for 2,500 reward points (worth $5 off a future booking). Dave wrote a brief summary of the review we’d done for BE and thought no more about it.
However, when we checked our Agoda reward points today we were delighted to find that Dave’s review had earned an extra 10,000 points for being Agoda’s hotel review of the month for October. Woohoo!
Kay has been an expat for over 20 years. She set up the British Expat website more than 12 years ago, whilst living in London and missing the expat life. These days she spends much of her time lugging computers and cameras around the world. (Dave gets to deal with all the really heavy stuff.)
A nice little bonus
