Hi

We are looking at moving to the Maroochydore area after spending 3 lovely weeks on holiday visiting friends. My hubby currently works as a gas engineer with British Gas. Can anyone tell us (a) the chances of getting a job before we get out there (b) if not, what he will have to do to gain the Australian version of Corgi, i.e. retraining, what, where, how much, how long etc, and (c) after he has done all that will there be a job at the end of it, given that the weather is so gorgeous they dont need central heating?!

Any help will be much appreciated.

I know your post is old but im a plumber/gas engineer the same as your husband. Im searching the internet for help and advice and your post showed up. It would be a huge help to me if you could email me as Im looking to move to perth and I have lots of questions about applying my trade there
