  • Karma What?
I am keen to have any advice about timings for skills assessments, medical checks, police checks and visa applications.

My boyfriend doesn't start his teacher training until September this year, and therefore will not finish training until September 2009.

We would love to make the move soon after that but can anyone offer any advice as to when to start applying for what and when?

Also, our eldest daughter will be in Year 5 in school in the UK year Sept 2009-Sept 2010, turning aged 10years in November 2009. I've read that Australian High School doesn't start til Year 8 (aged 13?)?? If so, I will then have to consider primary schools to bridge the gap if we were to leave so soon.

Any advice on migration agents would also be welcome. The whole process seems quite confusing so we may consider their services - any recommendations?

Many thanks
