Bulgaria - British Expat Forum

Hi All.
Just a quick introduction,My names Dave and will shortly be moving from London to Plovdiv,My partner is from BG and runs her own business in Plovdiv.
I have recently been made redundant after 43 years with one company,So after very little thought decided to move to BG to be with partner.
What is the ex-pat scene like in Plovdiv.
I speak a bit of BG,But not enough to get by.
Hoping to clear everything here in London by Aug/sept.
So any helpful information would be grateful.

Hey Dave, read your message. Interesting. I am in the same situation like you, just moved from London to Plovdiv, been there 13 years, and now don't know what to do here. The only difference is that originally I am Bulgarian. Have you found anything interesting to do in Plovdiv yet? Or a nice community?? I am more used to English people than Bulgarian, would like to join a community if there is one. Thanks.
