Bulgaria - British Expat Forum

Hi everyone.

We are Gordon and Angie, originally from the North of England but currently living in Turkey. After more than 5 years in Turkey we are thinking maybe its time to move on .......... to Bulgaria
Before we do we have a few things to sort here in Turkey and a lot to sort in Bulgaria.
I am sure your forum will be a source of useful information.
We look forward to getting to know many of you through the forum and hopefully meet one or two"in the flesh"along the way

Welcome to the forum and thanks for introducing yourself. The forum can only be as useful as people make it so I hope you'll join in and add to the knowledge we already have here.

Did you just get fed up of Turkey or did you become disillusioned with it?

Thanks for your reply.
We still enjoy Turkey and the way of life we have which is quite a simple one. We feel we need a change. There are things that we do not like or which frustrate us here in Turkey but that doesnt make it a bad place to live and not the reason why we want to move on.
Wherever we go I am sure everything will not be 100% to our liking. Think thats why most people move away from UK in the first place.

We have been reading a lot of the posts on the forum and found lots of interesting topics and although we do not know Bulgaria will look to contribute as much as we can.
