We came across this leaflet in our bundle given at the point of landing it says you can claim back your GST for the first year of residence.

Has anyone seen this before and used it?
Is it means tested or open to all new arrivals? If so this is well worth using.

Might question the GST claim back on the Bentley though.

I was reading about this the other day when looking for another bit of info. My understanding is that any tax paying resident of Canada can claim back a percentage of GST/HST each year at the same time as completing the annual tax return. However, it is means tested, so don't expect much if you have a reasonable income.
