I have been told that if we take our beloved dog into canada, then when we return (want to go for 12mnths first),he would have to go into quarantine for 24 months does anyone know if this is correct?

Yes and No is the answer.

There is an easy way round it.

Get you dog a pet passport and that way they do not require quarantine on entry to the UK. That is what we did for ours, in the end we never came back but we are still glad we have one.

It means you need to get your dog microchipped etc but its worth the cost.
