Apologies to those of you who were inconvenienced by our server going down today (Friday 12 December) from approximately 1200 GMT to 1235 GMT.

My fault, I'm afraid - you should have been forewarned. Our hosting providers warned us yesterday that they would be taking the server offline for maintenance and that they didn't expect the downtime to exceed 15 minutes - but I stupidly forgot to pass on the message to our users. (And to Kay. As you can imagine, she wasn't best pleased.)

Again, very many apologies for the inconvenience - I'll do everything I can to ensure it doesn't happen again.
