Very Happy

Hi All

I am a UK paramedic , and I have been offered employment in Clagary.

For this, I require a Class 4 Alberta driving licence. I have the UK equivelent of D1 and D1E (now not part of the normal UK car licence).

I am getting conlficting advice from qualifying for a straight swap for an Alberta Class 4, taking a medical and an eye test, being able to drive Class4 for a year the taking a test or actually having to gain residency, getting an address and then sitting a full test.

I have contacted the local authority, but they are checking this out and I have been waiting for a decision.

Anybody had a simliar situation with Class 4 or above?

Any advice or guidance greatly apprecaited

Regards
cam
