Canada - British Expat Forum

My wife and I have been wanting to make the move to Canada for many years now and we have finally decided to just go for it. We have decided to use some of our savings to tour Canada assisting us to decide where we would like to reside with our 2 daughters. We aim to take approx 6 months to do this giving us the opportunity to look at the work possibilities too. Any advice is welcomed expecially if you too just packed up and went without aiming to go back to the UK apart from to pack your remaining belongings.

Hi.

We spent two weeks looking around BC. As we thought it would suit us the best. We really liked it... BUT, we both decided it was not what we imagined. And were a little let down. So a few weeks later, we went off to Ontario, That was what we expected!.

So going to travel around, seems a good idea. it is a big place, and so different from area to area!

Where abouts in Ontario have you chosen, I've heard Oakville is nice?
