We pick up PR visas next Thursday. My wife, son, dog and me are booked to fly out on the 3rd September, this time a one way flight!

We close on the house purchase on the 14th of August.....

The container picks our stuff up on the 20th August. And I have also got a separate container for my car.

I am sure this will turn into a nightmare, but worth it in the end!

Our house is in the horseshoe valley area, between Barrie and Orillia.

3 weeks today, and we will be at the airport. Seems really odd somehow.

There is a lot to do, the organizing has been quite stressful.

But I have had a lot of help along the way, 99% of the help from Canadians, bless them!

The removal company were due today at nine.... They did not turn up. Apparently we fell off the computer screen. We were on it Monday when we paid!

Arr that is just another one of those annoying pieces of emigrating - things sem to smooth out once your here and people go at a much slower pace and it would appear with greater care. Just keep that bucket of good will full for a bit longer .

Yeah they finally turned up 5 hours late. We are sure there will be more problems over the next 2 weeks. But we are near the end now. First two weeks we are there, we are treating as a holiday. Although, I do have to get 1 of my studios productive at least.
