Hello,

I've recenlty had my Canadain Work Visa granted. I'm planning on going to Canada in September. I'm just wondering if anyone knows how difficult it is to get a job in Plumbing/Gasfitting.

I have the qualifications and the experience that an employer in the UK would hope for, obviously I understand that plumbing differs from one Country to the next and that it may be difficult to find work but any help from anyone would be highly appreciated.

Hi treener. Absent other more knowledgeable replies, I do not have any direct knowledge of plumbing and related jobs, but I have had a couple of close British friends here for many years, both of whom are qualified British plumbers. They have both done very well, one running his own plumbing business, the other spending years in the building trade then his later years as a plumbing inspector for a major city. My sense is that if you are a qualified plumber (completed apprenticeship, etc), you would do well here. Good luck.
Ecstatic in paradise.

Plumber is a tradesperson who specializes in installing and maintaining systems used for potable drinking water, sewage, drainage, venting, heating and air-conditioning, or industrial process plant piping. It is important that the staffs of plumbing services are well trained, experts and dedicated to the services. Good to know that there is online plumbing services that offer this kind of job.

Spammy link deleted. We don't welcome spam on here. And we shut it down pronto.

Mostly we just delete it, but it doesn't hurt for people to know sometimes how much time and effort we put in to keep the place clean for them to use. I guess a lot of people think the forum is spam free as if by magic.

BTW, weng, who was posting irrelevant copy and paste rubbish from the Philippines, is now banned.

Was this a nuisance to read? Just be thankful that you don't have to see the vast majority that we delete - and be glad that you don't have to wade through loads of the crap to see the good postings.
