My hubby and I have PR Status, we returned to the UK to sell our house. We can get a mortgage in Canada, but so far only once we have employment.

We have the 35% deposit for a house, and enough money in the bank to pay for 12 months mortgage and living expenses while we look for a job. does anyone know of any institutions that will give a mortgage on these terms prior to employment.

Any experiences would be welcome

I got a mortgage here without employment... I did put down 60% deposit... How can the bank loose?
