Hi All,
I would like to say that I feel lucky to have found this forum on the internet and having spent a few interesting hours reading various threads ( its very slow at work!) I have my own question of the forum.
I am very interested in Living and working in the Turks and Caicos Isles, I will probably take a holiday there sometime later this year to do some scuba diving and to see if it comes up to my expectations and to do a general inventory of things. This seems like a good idea to me, although Im not too naive to think that a holiday on a paradise isle is the same as living and working there , but hey! we all have to start planning our dream somehow
My main question is what is needed in the way of visa's etc for a guy like myself? I cant seem to find out if I can just go there other than as a tourist.. It seems that US citizens can go even without a passport! but I thought it was a British Colony
Im a 45 yr old British guy born in london. I have a full british passport.
As I have some PADI qualifications I could get some work in the dive/tourist line, but I would like to keep this as a hobby, as I said Im not a dreamer. I work at present for a Bank in the City of London as an IT support analyst and therefore see myself looking for work in this kind of environment.
Basically I see the TCI's being Ideal for me... Im i right or wrong???
Cheers, and thanks in advance,
Paul.
