I'm worried I have a very rosy, unrealistic idea of what life in Sweden may be. I've visited many times, and have a number of swedish friends. But I don't know english folks who have made the move. I love the out doors, like snow, sick of Londons over crowded gloom. I'd like to hear some feed back, both positive and negative, if anyone has the time!

Absolutely go for it!!

Sorry, i don't have time right now, but will get back to you in a couple of weeks once the manic panic up to Easter/April 1 is past. Hope that's ok.

Hi Laurence
I moved to Sweden 4 years ago to be with my girlfreind and i am still here plus we have a little girl now.
I am a fully skilled welder and i had problems finding work and although most Swedish can speak English you should do a Swedish course through S.F.I which is free.
But it is a lovely country and the Swedish are very friendly people i would say it sometimes looks more rosey on holiday than it is in real life.
but saying that i will not be going back to the UK
All the best garry
