Hi - here's hoping that someone is living/working in Pretoria and monitoring this forum.

I have had my home in Malta for a whiel now and but lived and worked in numerous countries, mostly Eastern Europe and the Balkans of late. I am in discussions for a fixed term contract job in Pretoria and would dearly love to know a little more about the place from someone living there.

My main concerns are around safety and security, health care, where to live and any nasties waiting to bite me that can be avoided by some kindly advice.

Is there anyone here who can help?
