Hello everyone, I'm a new member.
We have had a spanking new fuseboard put into our house and it seemed to be working perfectly. This weekend, however, one circuit (row) blew. The switch which was causing the problem is labelled "bobine edf". If I leave it turned off, everything else now works. But I have the nagging suspicion that it's somehow 'important' and I should perhaps call our friendly neighbourhood electrician. Does anyone understand the problem and can give advice?
Thanks in advance.
Jack

Who installed the distribution board? Perhaps you should call him. Oh, and I presume it is actually full of circuit breaker switches, not fuses...

Hi
Sorry, I thought I'd already replied to this.
Our electrician is a drunkard and this is the worst time of year for him, but that is by-the-by.
The 'bobine' sorted itself out. After a day, I switched it back on and it stayed on. Perhaps it's just one of those French things ...
Yes, we have circuit breakers.
Merry Christmas.
Jack
