Hi

We have been told that it is cheaper to buy hardwood timber doors and windows in France than UK?

Is this so and if so can anyone recommend a cabinet maker/joiner in Northern France that would make us windows and doors.

If anyone has an answer to 3a8b5c's general question, we'd be glad to hear it. But we only allow recommendations of businesses on the Recommended Suppliers boards, so no recommendations here, please.

I've shifted this to the Property board as that seems to be the most appropriate place for it.

It's cheaper to buy factory-made wooden doors & windows in France, but I doubt whether bespoke stuff is any cheaper, unless you can find someone local. Even if you do, don't expect anything to be done on schedule.
