Hello,
Perhaps someone can give me some information on the subject of obtaining Personal Finance in France? I have found several retail finance organisations on the web, all seem to be aimed at the French market [why not?]. I am looking for a personal loan for between 10k and 15k for various purposes. In the UK there are countless High Street Bank loans/Supermarkets, etc. that offer this type of unsecured Finance easily and over various periods. Key question; is there a similar type of organisations who do this? And, preferably are used to dealing with British/English speaking [my French is very moderate]? I am thinking along the lines of a specialised Broker perhaps in the larger cities - I am near to Toulouse, so any ideas would be very welcome. Kind regards, Bodhran2 Confused Frustration

Hi, Bodhran2, and welcome.

You'll have seen in the posting guidelines that we don't allow recommendations of specific businesses on the public boards (otherwise we'd be swamped with spammers). If anyone's got any general information about whether the sort of organisation you list exists, then they're very welcome to post it - but anything about specific companies will be removed.

Thank you, yes of course it would not be practical to allow 'business adverts'. Guidance must be available somewhere as I expect others have similar requirements, or need advice through thise media? Regards, Bodran2

Bodhran2, why not start with the French bank that you use? They all do this kind of thing. Take a friend with you who speaks reasonable French - or fork out around 100 euros for a professional interpreter.
