My fiancee and I travel through France to winter in Spain in our motorhome, we had a change of lifestyle 3 years ago, and now work as campsite wardens in the UK and winter in Spain. We have always worked hard and have never been a burden on the system. We join up with the Motorcaravanners Club Spanish group, which is run by ex-pats. We stay on their property during their absence ( they go on holiday or back to the UK ) in our motorhome to provide security. Our motorhome is modern and self contained so we do not need building entry.

I would like to know from more ex-pats if you think it is worth me setting up a company to provide the same service for other property owners.
There is already a company in the UK providing such a service, but not in Europe.

Please let me know if you or any of your friends would use the service and then depending on the reaction i would start the ball rolling.

Sounds like a feasible plan. Search the web for house minders and animal minders, and you may find some sites or lists where it would be worth publicising your idea. Good luck!
