Well, this is the first time I've had a chance to get back here to report. It's been making me very, very busy.
Anyway, thought I'd give you all a progress report on the weekend.
It was really quite exhausting, but enjoyable. A real learning experience and I think I acquitted myself quite well. The camera was excellent.
The very first session, I took way too many photographs - and had a keep rate of less than one percent

. After that, things get better and better and in very short time, the keep rate had gone up to probably about 98% - with much more selective shooting.
I still managed to take over 5,000 shots during the weekend

.
I actually turned the camera down because it was just too fast

. It was much more comfortable shooting at four frames a second than at the eight it can do.
You can tell that this camera was specifically made for this sort of job. It was a joy to work with. Focusing is lightning fast, metering almost telepathic and it just felt right in the hand. For such a comprehensive camera, I was "up to speed" with it in no time at all.
I'm getting extremely positive comments about the shots. They're going down extremely well

.
Thus far, I've only managed to recover my expenses for the weekend. I'm not expecting to make a mint, but it sure is nice that my web site works (I must admit to being a little surprised that when I turned it "live", all worked flawlessly). It sure is nice getting the "You've Got Cash" e-mails from Paypal

. Some people are buying two or three shots at a time.
Here's my favourite shot from the weekend. I call it "Sparky" (click for slightly larger version).
