We live in Arroyo de la Miel/Benalmadena and following a bout of flu over the Christmas period I have had a problem with my hearing. It has got to the point now where I don't want to go out because I can't hear what people are saying to me so I really need to see a doctor to get it sorted. Can anyone please tell me where I need to go?

I'm guessing that you're in Spain, unless there's another Benalmadena somewhere else - so the best I can advise is that you try posting on the Health & Medical board on our Spain forum, where your question's most likely to get a quick reply from someone who knows how to find a way through the Spanish healthcare system. (You never know, someone may have already posted something that at least gets you started on the process of getting to see a doctor.)

...or just see a chemist and ask for an ear wax softener/remover. Or use warm olive oil.
