I know that some of you are signed up for our opt-in newsletter. We've tried sending it twice already this week but nothing seems to have happened. If you're signed up for it could you please confirm that you haven't received it this week and we'll try again to send it.

We can't understand how it's disappeared. We followed exactly the same process as we used last week.

We don't know what's gone wrong. All parallel tests have worked, it just seems to be this list that doesn't - and we don't fancy entering hundreds of addresses by hand again. We've contacted the server to see if they can fix the problem from their end.

Meanwhile we hope that the failed attempts which disappeared into a black hole don't suddenly reappear. What a hassle.

Please forgive us if you end up getting it more than once.

We sent two yesterday which were both bounced (by our server because of password issues) so we're pretty sure they're dead now. And we've tried twice today, as far as I can remember. It's the second one which has come through. Oh well, it's not a disaster but people can get very irritated by getting extra emails.
