What happened to the "mark as read" button?

Without this facility I have to click on items of no interest whatsoever just to clear "unread items".

This would enable me to limit the recently unending Squiffy jokes (among other items) although I must admit to laughing out loud at the "pavement" one.

My mind, suffering an epiphinic moment, went immediately to the arrival of the three kings bearing gifts of pavement and aromatic resins.

Thank you. Now found it but it's a route I never take. However have found "mark all boards read" which I think the bar stewards at Head Office have slipped in this morning right at the bottom of a page the extremities of which I never reach!

Why can't these people leave well alone or at least have the decency to wait until seniors like me have finally shuffled off.

We haven't changed anything as far as I know, we've been busy doing other stuff.

No chance of me changing anything in the morning, I'm not even sure what morning is. As for this afternoon I've been prepping for our Christmas dinner because the boss has decreed that tomorrow is Christmas dinner day.

I don't think that Dave has changed anything either as I've been keeping him very busy, but I'll get him to post to confirm or deny that.

Warn't me, guv. I haven't made any changes of that nature to the fora for yonks.

Perhaps if you lost some weight your buttons wouldn't keep pinging off your shirts and you wouldn't be losing so many.

Thanks for your good wishes about our Christmas Day tomorrow. It's an arbitrary date, I know, but so is the 25th of December. And if Jesus had owned a food blog he'd probably have held the event early too, so he'd be able to get his photos and recipes uploaded before the last minute rush of people panicking about making the darned Christmas meal.
