Hi,

so this may be silly, but online banking here is ridiculous, you need to know a persons ancestry to send them money and you get charged for it!

My question is: I have to pay 2 companies (to receive my cargo) for their services, both cant be found on my td trust list of payees so I cant set them up as payees and pay them online. They are a company so i can't use interac as that needs a specific email.

Can I walk into the bank where the businesses have accounts and out money directly into their accounts? If so what information do i need to take with me and how will they know that that amount is from me? Also is there a charge for this also?

Thank you for any insight into the banking system over here Smile

Where is the "here" you refer to in your post? Is it Canada? In which case you'd be better off asking about banking in Canada on our Canada forum.
