I don't know what you mean by these low-level satellites. What are they, where are they?

Did it appear and then shoot off really fast?

I'm pretty sure they're military reconnaissance or weather satellites - they orbit at much lower levels than the geostationary ones (about 800km up, as opposed to 36,000km) and move steadily across the sky in a straight line.

Hi all, i'm still alive! And yes, I have seen a UFO...twice, in fact. Anyone ever heard of the incident in Shag Harbour, Nova Scotia in 1968? I lived near there at the time, and saw it, but because my father was in the military and we had been told it was nothing...we didn't discuss it. I didn't know it was a UFO until many, many years later. The second time was when I was in a car rally, driving through a back road, when we got the car stuck in the mud. The driver(another woman) and myself sat there trying to figure out what we were going to do...when we saw the UFO directly above. Again, this was about 25 years ago and while we talked a bit about it at the time, we didn't discuss it much over the years. So, there you have it... my experience.

Hi JaJ
Glad to have you back again! Squiffs told us you were having some computer problems. I hope you've got 'em fixed now.
I'm really interested in what you say about UFOs. I've never seen one but I don't believe that such a phenomenon can't happen. I'm interested in it. But there will always be people who will refuse to believe that things exist, just because they personally haven't seen them. Good on you for saying it. I hope it leads to some interesting discussions.

Early hours of the morning once in the UK, I had a very bright light shine down on the car I was driving. I assume that it must have been a police helicopter, but I did stop the car and turn the engine off, but couldn't hear a thing
Who knows...
We watched the space station come over just before we left the UK.
Alan.
