Recent news shows a significant terrorist attack on tourists and their hotels in Mumbai, the aftermath is still not cleared up and latest reports put over 100 people killed. Is Mumbai safe for tourists? It seems not at the moment.

I understand the background of this attack and the Muslim peoples feelings about the Hindu, Sikh and Western religions/philosophy/morals etc. I don't believe that this is the right way to correct past wrongs or enforce beliefs. Unfortunately it may well degenerate into a 'religious' war (Intifada) with all the connotations that that would hold. I hope that peace will manage to break out, after the huge steps taken in Northern Ireland in what I thought was an insolvable problem, there has to still be hope for Mumbai.
Confused
