Hello, has anyone recently been to Kathmandu or Colombo to get a visa for India. Is it easy to get one direct from the indian embassies? Reason I ask is I have been told that the embassies can blow hot and cold and sometimes make things difficult. Also I would be swapping from an employment to a tourist visa, so I can reenter the country - any comments on this? Thank you. Alison.
