spoke to a Maltese friend of mine - view of Cospicua/Bormla - there are worse places in Malta, but not many - not a good place to bring up kids - alot of social problems incl drug dealers, prostitution etc.

In that area, she says Vittoriosa is much better

My post it was a comment from a Maltese (ie not Gozitan) friend - she couldn't believe anyone would even consider living in Bormla unless they had no choice, especially a foreigner. She did say Gzira is worse, but only because its bigger, and so takes longer to get out of........

Excuse me, what am I doing in the jumble?

Back on topic. No matter where in the world you are living I do not think you can dismiss a whole area just because of these hard working ladies!

No where is perfect (well apart from Gozo) (only joking). What would you do if you found that the very best school was in an area used by these ladies? Would you send them to a second rate school just so they did not have the chance of seeing them.

Well the other school i liked was here "L-Imselliet l/o Zebbiegh" which i understand to be quite close to Rabat and Mosta, in fact when i look on the map at where the actual school is its in the middle of nowhere but close to alot of places, only thing i noticed the townhouses seem to be in less supply around the north side of Malta, but then anywhere isnt exactly far to drive in Malta or gozo is it Smile

Nearly four years have passed: has something changed? They say that now they are going to prepare a "Yacht marina" or something like that, and also the three Cottonera cities are gaining interest because of their historical part. Do you still rate Cospicua so low?
By the way, a prostitute tried to hook me on Bay Street, so maybe it's not only a Cospicua problem...
