Apartment clearance in Xlendi (apartment of the late James Girshin). James very kindly left much of the contents of his apartment to Gozo SPCA. There will be a sale of many of the items from his apartment tomorrow from 2pm-6pm and on Tuesday from 9am-5pm.

‎2 couches, 2 chairs, round solid pine dining table with 4 chairs, coffee tables, end tables, bedside stands, lots of clothes, dishes and other kitchen stuff including an expresso machine, books, book shelf, original paintings, oriental rug...s and decor, many knick knacks, CDs, DVDs, lots of office stuff including a nice desk, TV, CD players, DVD player, fishing poles

As you say, Mark, how kind of him to leave his belongings to a good cause. I hope you get a good price for them and that his possessions go to good new homes.

Had a really nice day today with James's brother and wife, who have flown over from Wisconsin to sort out James's estate. We managed to raise € 1,280 for Gozo SPCA, but still have quite a few things left to sell, including

a few paintings
some persian rugs (5 I think) - do any of you know someone who could value the rugs ?
