I wonder if anyone knows how or why 4 bathing access ladders to the West of Marsalforn have disappeared over the last 10 days or so?

I spoke to a stand-in tourist guy and he thought that maybe they had been destroyed by the bad weather. This seems like a huge co-incidence to me.
Perhaps something to do with the proposals for the bay I thought.

Anyone have any ideas?

Keith
I am interested in living on Malta or Gozo in the fairly near future and would like to make contacts as a prelude to this.

not sure about Marsalforn, but at many bays the ladders are removed each year after the summer

But the four that have gone disappeared virtually overnight.

I wonder whom I could contact about these disappearing ladders. I'm sure they don't take them up normally - they are cemented in!

My favourite places for swimming !

Could be a Health & safety issue, the metal ladders at the end of the breakwater at Xemxija were recently removed
I used to use them when swimming there

When we were at Melieiha in October we saw workmen removing bathing ladders at the south end of the bay
