Hi. I am using a car to take some things to France and UK and then giving car to my daughter. My insurance broker says once car is insured in UK in daughters name and copy forwarded to insurer a refund on my insurance is possible. To get the Maltese road tax back for the remainder of the year he understands that I will have to return the number plates to a Maltese embassy. The nearest embassy is 200 miles away from my daughters UK address. Anybody know of a reasonable alternative?
