I am considering a 10 year old Mitsubishi L200 or Land Rover. Can anyone give me some guidance please.

Quick answer.... don't bother, it's not worth the effort!

Check the Transport Malta website to calculate the registration costs and annual road tax fees for these types of vehicles before you consider importing/buying one.

Might be a lot cheaper in the long run to buy one here instead.
