hi roomies
my first time in here. ok i want to get the hell out of the uk as i have no more blood to give the suckers in goverment ,so me and my partner are looking to move to malta to work and live.
im a qualified excavator driver with several licencesand have worked in the construction industry for over 20 yrs. my partner is a qualified health care worker so we both have qualifications.

i have applied for several jobs via the internet in the last 6 months however i never get a reply. so we are comeing to malt at the end of the month for a few weeks to look for work in person does anyone on here have any contacts that might help us or point us in the right direction.

malta being an x british colony i would expect that us brits would have no problem with the permits ect. also my grandfather fought the germans at malta and he has the malta star medal for defending malta against the german invasion. if anyone can give us a few pointers then here is my e mail adress jeff1111 (at) hotmail.co.uk

Hi digger, and welcome to the forum

"malta being an x british colony i would expect that us brits would have no problem with the permits ect." - being British makes no difference to this, but being an EU citizen does Smile You don't need a permit to work in Malta

there are lots of small construction companies (family businesses) - big ones I can think of are

Polidano
Said (Gozo)

private health care - AFAIK there is one private hospital (St James), but most people in healthcare work for both public and private

It's a simple error to make in haste and enthusiasm, but I hope this is not your main email account? If it is, please consider opening another and ditching this one, or just relegate it to the junk email address, or you'll attract many unwarranted replies.

There are tips and tricks already on this site, on how to (more safely) give out your email address.
