There never is a right time to buy, every house i bought in the last thirty years was supposedly at the wrong time, i never lost on one yet and never wasted a penny in rent. you just have to be commited to your purchase in all aspects long term, no matter what. No such thing as a quick buck in Malta.

Well said Dave. My sentiments exactly.

Doing your homework regarding location, etc., negotiating a fair price and being in it for the long term are key in Malta/Gozo.

The problem, Dave Dee, is that houses price has risen for a very long period of time, but we might have come to an end. If you look at 30 years time only, you can see that stocks have risen from 1970 to 2000, but after that...
