Sorry for being dim, but I really do hate application forms it's guaranteed that I will make a mess of them and fill in the wrong bits, they fluster me.

I have filled in the CEA21 forms for me and my children but am unsure what to put to the question "how long are you staying" or words to that affect. I don't have a time limit, I would like to stay as long as I can and as long as we can afford to etc etc, does this question have to be specifically answered or can I generalise it to say open ended or non specific??.

This is the last bit of the residency application puzzle left next all i have to do is get birth certificates and paper work countersigned at the police station.

If I didn't put that, then I put 5 years - thats the most they will probably give you anyway
