We are relocating soon from US. We are bringing our cat through the UK then to Malta.. We have all the bits sorted for the US to UK bit, chipped, pet passport, blood tests etc.
My understanding is that since start if 2012, if your bringing in a pet from a low incidence country (rabbies) and it has all the above bits done, the you can bring the cat in with no issues. Is it still the case that you need to contact the fisheries dept and get an import certificate and inspection?
Does anyone have any experiences or contacts other than the woman mentioned in a prior post.
Thanks for all and any help. This is an excellent forum. Well worth the 25!
