can any1 please give me an average wage earnt from working in call centre's?

Don't know about an average, but one well-known bank call centre is currently advertising a starting salary of €13,720.02 (please admire precision) for a full-time position working shifts.

That's just a little lower than the average Maltese wage, but there are quite a lot of benefits (health insurance etc) to compensate.

Assuming you work 40 hours per week, with 3 weeks (unpaid) holiday that works out at approximately 7.000010204081633 euros per hour. Wink

Does anyone know if said call-centre is still recruiting? I know they were at some schools in Gozo earlier in the year so I guess they would be, but just curious given the way the banking world has imploded Vomit

Thanks Mark. I know the same company has been laying call centre staff off in the UK, but I guess the Malta centre is more cost effective to run. Having said that turnover of staff is always pretty high so maybe that explains it.

They are recruiting now, they have a couple of open days within the next couple of weeks, give their H.R.team a call for details.
