My husband and I – together with our two young daughters – are coming to Malta at the end of August for 10 days. We are hoping to move to Malta next year. My husband wants to open a sandwich bar/fish and chip shop in the Sliema area. We would like to arrange a few viewings while we are over, but do not know the best estate agents to get in contact with. Does anyone know of a good reputable estate agents in the Sliema area.

Also, my oldest daughter is 3 yrs old, and I would like to know about schools in the area. I know that children do not have to attend school until the age of 5 in Malta, but obviously would like to know the options for schooling. Is there a school in Sliema (or surrounding area) that caters for Ex Pats (i.e. an International School), or would you send to the local primary school – which as I understand it is Sliema Primary School.

Many thanks for any help/advice.

Jo.

Hi joanna

don't worry, there are plenty of estate agents in Sliema Smile a quick google will come up with loads - if you want a recommendation, there are a few in our "recommended suppliers" forum, which costs £25 pa to join, with 50% going to Gozo SPCA.

As for your schools question, could you repost that in the education section ?
