Hi,
Has anyone had experience buying a one way ticket into Malta using the residency certificate as proof to avoid buying a return ticket.
(Return tickets are normally only valid for one year)

If you are an EU citizen you don't need a return ticket. If you live in Malta, your return is normally coming back to Malta anyway Smile

You can buy a one way ticket into Malta just using your passport for the normal airline ID checks. Very Happy

A non-EU citizen may have issues as immigration.

OK thanks Mark and pumabob, that makes perfect sense! My wife holds a non-eu passport, but holds the Maltese residence certificate ( I am a Brit) and we would be flying from outside the EU. Issues?

If she has a residence certificate, this proves she has a right to live in Malta, so no issues.
