Alright all?

I'm a 23 year old working out here till april and I keep getting a craving for a kickabout but none of my housemates or workmates are particularly interested. Does anyone play in a 5-a-side or 11-a-side team here that could do with an extra man? I'm a defender, used to pay at quite a high standard but I haven't kicked a ball for about 6 months so i imagine i am unfit and a little rusty

maybe ask at the local football club ??

Here in Xaghra there are three '5 a side' teams and my brother in law managed to get in a game quite easily when he was here in April and again in October this year......don't be afraid to ask at the local football club bar or band club.

Forgot to mention, there is no half time and the local lads play right through..it's really hard going if it's humid , plenty of liquid reciskment involved after the game though.

Well if you haven't kicked a ball in 6 months and you feel rusty, than this means I'm like the Tin Man after a week of rain. I used to love playing football, but something happened and my friends don't want to play anymore. I'm a defender too (5 vs 5 or 6 vs 6) but I haven't touched the ball for almost two years now..
