Hi, my family is looking to move to NZ and just wondered if we would have to take the IELTS test? We were all born in the uk, so speaking english isnt a problem.

If you are UK born and English is your primary language (you were schooled in English etc), then, no, you don't need to take the test. Very Happy You just put that down as your explanation (we put: "I am English, born, educated and work in England") and they didn't want any further info.
