New Zealand - British Expat Forum

We're developing a new city museum in Bristol (M Shed) and want to include a timeline of people who have joined or left the city. We will highlight 8 people including a person who went to New Zealand for economic reasons (ideally lsomeone who left in the 1960s or 1970s, but later if this is not possible). Would anyone be willing to be featured? We'd need a jpeg image of you in high resolution (at least 300 dpi), your name, a list of 4 or 5 objects that they may have taken (e.g. photo of UK family, jar of marmite, migration documents) and any other info (e.g. felt immediately settled in N.Z. or found the change difficult).

Though I'm from Bristol, I suspect that someone who emigrated in 2009 is probably a bit out of your remit! It sounds very interesting, though - is it a permanent exhibition? If so, I'll try to make sure I go to visit next time I'm back in the UK!
