Hi,

We are new to the site so hi to you all, well we think we have found our dream home in Albunol, this is our first purchace abroad and we need some advice please.
Can anyone recomend a English speaking lawyer to go throught the purchace with us
We are not getting a mortgage so who will do the valuation of the property

We also need to get quotes for builing work and electricity to be connected to the building, can anyone recomend a good builder and how do I go about getting a quote for the electricity to be connected.

Please PM details of lawyers and builders so not to break forum rules.

And are there anymore Expats in the Albunol area we could possibly meet up with when we come out to view the property to disscuss life in the area, make friends etc.

Hi,

If the only thing you want is a lawyer to go with you at the moment of the purchase, I’m afraid I ca not help you, but relating the valuation of the property I can tell you that there are in Spain independent registered companies under the control of the Spanish Central Bank that can help you on it.
I don’t know whether under the rules of the forum I can give you some commercial names, but you can just write on google “sociedad de tasacion” and you will get some.
In case it does not work, do not hesitate to contact me again and I will give you some names.
