Hi all!

I am new to the site so will probably be asking many questions.

My partner and I are hoping to move to Spain at the end of the year. We are going to find a job once we are out there. However one of my biggest concerns is that we won't be able to find anything as we are going out of season and jobs may be limited to fluent Spanish speakers (we only have basic Spanish).

My partner is currently a chef but I have no skills or qualifications. We would take any job that comes, although I wouldn't mind cleaning or bar work (I am currently a bartender). Does anyone have advice on how easy/difficult it is to find work at this time of year, or has anyone been in a similar situation?

Any replies would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Hannah.

hi
im in mallorca spain and its terrible to get work here in winter months as basically everything is closed down because its a seasonal place
most people here earn in the summer and keep money aside to get them through winter
it may be different in mainland spain and bieng a chef i would say is a great job as people are always looking for good chefs and bars are always taking on staff..
best of luck
karen
