Hello Paul,

I've just arrived in Luanda and I am also interested in discovering the social/sporting side of life here.

Have you managed to gather any useful information since you posted? Can anyone else help?

My sporting interests include football, rugby as well as martial arts and general fitness.

Hi Paul

I've just posted much the same message as this on another post, I start work in Luanda next month, coming out on my own, working on my own, so definately up for a beer.

Where are you staying, hotel or staff house?

Hi,

Good news; I'm actually in London at the moment but am going back to Luanda in a couple of weeks. I'll send you my phone number when I arrive.

On the sporting side I found the Hotel Tropico had some really good squash courts and a tennis court. Also a good gym and pool. I noticed that there are some 5-a-side football pitches near the radio station but have no idea how to get involved. I was planning on just turning up and asking for a game!

See you all soon hopefully!

Paul
