Women's health screening programmes like UK?

Postby Richter » Wed 3 Jan 2007 14:54 GMT

In the UK all women are offered regular breast screening (post age 50) and cervical screening programmes on the NHS. Is this the case in Canda?

If so, is it available free or cheaply through the regular healthcare systems, or do you have to go private if you want it? Does it vary from area to area? If private, any idea of costs.

Do any members have experience of this (ladies!).

Not a woman, but Yes and Yes.

Men must pay for PSA Testing in Ontario, about 10 pounds.
