Private health for first 90 days...how much is required?

I have recently arrived in ontario and need to get private health insurance for the first 90 days before i become eligable for OHIP. I have looked on the settlement.org website and I am going to call the recommended companies for quotes (etfs, blue cross, TIC and also Canadasure).

The first company (etfs) asked me how much I wanted to be covered for; $15,000, $25,000, $50,000, $100,000 or more. What is a realistic amount i should get covered for? I was thinking of $25,000?

Any help?
