Decisions, decisions...

Any young people immigrated, or emigrating?

Have I made the right choice? Homesickness etc.

Any young people immigrated, or emigrating?

Postby mek14 » Thu 13 Dec 2007 18:15 GMT

My husband and i emigrated to Ontario from Scotland 2 years ago. We are both 27.
We have met many people who have enigrated here from the uk, however we havent met anyone our ages who has made the move.

I was just wondering, if we are the only "young ones", or whether there are more of you out there

I'm 35 and my husband is 33 - that does count? Would be nice to be classed as young for a change!

Anyway, we've just arrived here! :D

Ontario? me too.

Been here for 2 years. We tend to hang about with cousin, and all of her friends have now become our friends - they are all in their mid 30s too.

Merry Christmas!

Hi there.

We are married, (26 & 29) and are emigrating to NS. I think the age of immigration is only going to drop with the way the UK is too.

We want our future kids to be born in a less stupid country than ours.

Same here Simbiantbeing!

I am 30 and my girlfriend is 32 (I hope she doesn't read this and throttles me!) and we are both disillusioned with Britain - no space and even less if they build all the houses they want to, a government that loses everything, too many people are in a rush and too rude to say thank you and I certainly don't want to bring my children up in a country like that! Just a few things we hate about how Britain is going down the tubes.

I'll get off my soapbox now!
